These colorful geometric designs are all made from wood using a technique known as wood marquetry.
A variety of different species of trees grow in Japan throughout the four seasons here. Hand planes are used to carve out thin wooden strips from bundles that combine wood from these different species of trees to produce wooden sheets with fascinating patterns. This is a traditional Japanese craftsmanship technique with a history of nearly 400 years.
Also, the watch band is made of Tochigi Leather, the finest Japanese brand. Tochigi Leather's tanning process (to soften the leather material) uses plant extracts instead of conventional chemicals. This makes the tanning process five times longer. The leather made in this way is strong and fits your wrist well. The watch band comes in six colors, including unique Japanese colors such as eggplant navy blue and tangerine.
The product comes with a special box and a warranty card.
